WHEN TO ORDER YOUR PERSONALISED WEDDING STATIONERY

WEDDING INVITATIONS
To invite guests to the ceremony itself and reception and/or party. These should be sent to each guest or family at least 6-8 weeks before the wedding, to allow plenty of time for replies to arrive and the number of guests to be finalised.

EVENING INVITATIONS
These can be sent to guests you wish to invite to the evening reception or party, who may not be going to the wedding
ceremony itself. These may also be used to invite guests to a party at home following a wedding ceremony overseas. Again these should be sent out at least 6-8 weeks before the occasion.

WEDDING ANNOUNCEMENTS
Following small private weddings or weddings abroad, you may wish to send a wedding announcement to inform a wider circle of friends and relatives of the ceremony.

REPLY CARDS
These can be sent out with your invitations to make it easy for your guests to reply promptly. They are supplied with their own
co-ordinating envelopes, printed in grey ink only with your name and address.

ORDERS OF SERVICE
If you are getting married in church or other religious establishment, you will need an Order of Service to provide guests
with a programme of the ceremony. We recommend that you allow one copy per guest, with a few extra copies for the clergy, choir and last minute guests. Please check the details for the service, including hymns and music, with your minister or priest before ordering your cards, and supply clear, full copy, when ordering. Order approximately 6 weeks before your wedding, when arrangements for the day have been finalised.

BLESSING OF THE MARRIAGE
For weddings that have not taken place in a church or other religious establishment, but are to be blessed formally, you may
choose to have your Order of Service created with a specific Blessing wording.

ORDERS OF THE DAY
If you are having a civil ceremony, you may like to provide an Order of the Day for your guests. This will give details of the programme of events during the day, including the marriage ceremony, reception and/or party.

PLACE CARDS
All of our designs come with co-ordinated Place Cards, which will help your guests find their places at the reception or party. All Place Cards can be printed with the first names of the bridal couple. They provide a welcoming touch and can also make an attractive memento of your day.

MENUS
These are available across a range of designs, to provide an attractive, co-ordinated look to your wedding reception or party
table arrangements.

SERVIETTES OR NAPKINS, SERVIETTE OR NAPKIN RINGS
These add the finishing touch to your table decoration, and can be printed with the names of the bridal couple and the wedding date.

SCROLLS
These can be placed by each table setting and are an original way to welcome or thank your guests, and act as a lovely memento of the occasion.

THANK YOU CARDS OR BRIDAL NOTEPAPERS
Both Thank You Cards and Bridal Notepaper are good ways to thank family and friends for their wedding gifts and inform them
of your new address.

Knowledge Base - Why do we use Ceremonial Pens? Signing of the marriage register with witnesses present, at Sprowston Manor, UK.In the UK, a civil ceremony cannot include hymns, religious readings or prayers, and the marriage must take place at a registered or licensed venue to be legally valid. Many private premises are licensed to hold civil ceremonies. Couples wishing to marry outside of their area of residence must reside in that location for 7 days and then wait a further 15 days before they may marry. As well as each party to the marriage signing the register, signatures of two witnesses are also required.

In most American jurisdictions, civil ceremonies are subject to the same requirements as religious ceremonies, including venue reservation fees, marriage license fees, and age restrictions. The ceremony may take place in many places, including courthouses, parks, gardens, banquet halls, hotels, and other approved venues. Many venues may also accommodate the reception. Like non-civil ceremonies, the formality and style of the ceremony depend entirely on the tastes of the couple.
